This is
The Yea Spot

a collaborative creative writing project for junior high school students
by award-winning author, John B. Lee (Ontario)
and web and multimedia designer, Marlene Lacey (Alberta)

This website, "The Yea Spot", is fitting for the book of poems that will be written by John B. Lee  for children and illustrated by the photography and art work of Marlene Lacey.  All schools, particularly Canadian schools, are invited to visit this website to observe publications in creation.  They can see the poems and respond to them as they emerge.

Teachers can be involved interactively and actively involve their students at any level that they deem appropriate.  Teachers become part of the Yea Spot Administrators and students can join the administrative team as Yea Spot Interactors where they can use the guestbook and email to provide response and feedback, as well as ask questions. By combining creative efforts, it should become a great creative writing learning experience for the students.

The name, The Yea Spot, is fitting for the website missive — to move the students towards an "Aha Experience" in creative writing as well as experience how current technologies can be applied to the writing and publishing field.
